Knockaround, a San Diego based sunglasses and style accessories company, first contacted QualityFirst Commercial around April of 2012 after receiving a referral from one of QFC's long-term clients, Adrenaline Lacrosse. Excited about the opportunity to work with another creative lifestyle brand, Steven Martini and Barrett Geenen wasted no time getting down to business. "We first met Ace, CEO of Knockaround, and his partner Regan, the best table tennis player in San Diego, at a cool little bar in South Bay called Stoney's," explains Martini. "They were coming out of a standard flex type space in National City and were looking for something fun and creative for their employees. Knockaround is the brainchild of former UCSD grad school art student Ace Moyer. "I realized that San Diego is always sunny. I didn't have any money because I was a kind of starving artist, and decided I'm going to start at sunglasses company, affordable glasses for artists like me can afford," Ace said.
